Arapaho National Forest - Restrictions put on snowmobile use on Loveland Pass and Berthoud Pass
This winter, the Arapaho Forest put restrictions on use of snowmobiles on Loveland Pass and Berthoud Pass. Signs are posted at the top of each pass indicating that snowmachines cannot be used on either of the management areas for the Loveland Ski area and the Berthoud Pass Ski area. These are not the ski area boundaries, but the management boundaries as defined in the Forest Management Plan (which are larger than the ski area boundaries).
