Sanctified: Film Highlighting Non-Motorized Issues

This winter, in association with Backcountry Magazine, KGB Productions is producing an environmentally focused ski film titled "Sanctified." The film will highlight some of the issues that directly impact backcountry skiing, including global warming, access issues, overuse/misuse and development. KGB's goal is not only to educate, but to define a new way of looking at the mountains and the skier's responsibility to protect and promote these areas.

Thanks to KGB and Backcountry Magazine, all BSA members who are Backcountry Magazine subscribers (members who join at $50 and up) will receive a free DVD copy of KGB's film this fall. Additionally, plans are in the works for Front Range REI stores to host a KGB film tour this coming fall, with part of the proceeds going to BSA.
