BSA at CSA
Bob Moore, BSA Board Member, spoke at the Colorado Snowmobile Association's (CSA) annual meeting on May 6, 2000, in Leadville, CO. The BSA was there to learn more about that organization, to talk about BSA, and to present ideas for working together in pursuit of our common objectives to enjoy the backcountry in winter.
Many of the participants at the meeting were leaders of CSA member clubs and several of them spoke about collaborative efforts between snowmobilers and backcountry skiers in their locations. There was interest in the BSA proposal to form a joint working group representing the two organizations to identify solutions to common problems as well as issues related to conflict between the two groups.
The first meeting is scheduled for September 30, 2000 in Denver. Please let us know if you have ideas on how to best work with these groups and/or if you would like to participate.
